Dear Patient,

Your overall health and wellness is our highest priority. We recognize the growing concern with COVID-19 within our communities. After evaluating the most current information and reviewing all published guidelines, we remain confident in our ability to provide care in a safe and healthy environment at Infinity Health.

We are implementing the following additional precautions and recommendations to our patients and team members in light of COVID-19.

  1. We recommend staying home if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or any other illness.

  • Use your best judgment. If you are sick, we will help you reschedule. If you are uncertain, please call our office prior to your appointment.

  • If you attend your appointment and would feel most comfortable waiting outside or in your car prior to the start of your appointment, please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate.

  1. We will maintain a clean and safe environment and continue to comply with OSHA and CDC infection control guidelines, as has been our ongoing practice even prior to COVID-19:

    • We have standard protocols in place to disinfect all surfaces and patient contact areas.

    • We have reviewed the procedures for proper hand hygiene, reinforced their importance, and encouraged accountability between team members.

    • We have expanded and increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection of all common areas and facilities.

  2. We support a healthy work environment for our employees.

    • We have instructed our team to stay at home if they are experiencing symptoms.

We are closely monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization and will continue to seek guidance from these agencies and local public health officials. With new information, we will make the necessary adjustments to our operations and will keep you informed of any changes.

Thank you for your continued trust and confidence in the care you receive at our practice. If you have questions or concerns, please get in touch. We’re in this together and here to help!

What can you do to support your immune system?

Lifestyle adaptations:

  • Sleep well (7-9 hours per night)

  • Reduce stress (as much as possible…breathe deeply)

  • Eat well (more fruits and veggies, fewer carbs, eliminate refined sugar, alcohol, and caffeine)

  • Exercise (walk, HIIT, etc.)

  • Don’t smoke (countries hit hardest have lots of smokers. This virus goes to the lungs)

  • Get out in the sun. Viruses hate UV light. Sunshine stimulates vitamin D production which bolsters your immune system.

  • vitamin C (up to 2,000mg per day)

  • probiotics (supporting gut function is vital to immune health)

  • vitamin A, K1, K2

  • zinc

  • selenium (200mcg can boost viral-fighting capacity of your body)

  • echinacea tea

  • resveratrol

*Always check with your doctor before beginning any supplementation program.
